Mr. M. M. Madan

Mr. M. M. Madan is a B.Tech (Civil) and MBA. He is having more than 45 years of rich experience in all aspects of Hydropower Sector from Concept to Commissioning with special emphasis on NATM, TBM, Highway, Metro Rail Tunnels and UG Structures. CVC & RCC Dams. Started his career with NHPC in 1977. Headed Large Hydro Projects; Teesta Stage 5, Parbati Stage 2 and 3, Purulia Pumped Storage Scheme etc., Regional Executive Director at HP.

After leaving NHPC, joined LNJB Group as CEO, Director (Hydro) at GVK Infra. CEO & President (Hydro) at Jindal Power Limited. He was also Chairman (Hydro)- National Council on Power and Tunnelling. He is PMC & Tunnelling Consultant at Mumbai Metro, Rewa-Siddhi Highway tunnel,Team Leader WAPCOS for Lower Seti HPP at Nepal WAPCOS, Expert for Lower SOLU HEP, Nepal

He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers- (India), Institution of Valuers- (India) & Indian National Academy of Engineering(INAE), Member: International Hydropower Association(IHA), Indian National Hydropower Association(INHA), Indian Society of Rock Mechanics & Tunnelling Technology(ISRMTT), Indian Society of Rock Mechanics(ISRM). Empanelled in Panel of Arbitrators of Institution of Engineers (I).

He is Recipient of Aqua Foundation's Excellence Award, I.N. Sinha Award 2001-02, Prof. V. K. Kulkarni Award in 1987. Published and presented more than 248 technical papers in national and international forums.
