Dr Bineshian Hoss
Dr Bineshian, Hoss is the Technical Director of AMBERG Engineering AG. He obtained his BEng with first class Hons in Civil/Mining - Tunnelling from SUT, his MEng with first class Hons in Civil - Geomechanics from TMU, his MPhil with distinction in Civil - Structural Engineering from UWA, and his PhD with distinction in Civil - Geotechnics from UWA in Perth, Australia.
He worked for L&T and Geodata in principal positions of design and consultancy head/lead before joining Amberg in 2018, who developed in-house design team of young designers. He has an international reputation as a qualified detail-focused tunnelling and infrastructure expert with over 24 years of experience in design and construction at multidisciplinary international consultancy and construction firms in four continents.
He has developed the Bineshian Strength/Failure Criterion in 2000, the CQD (Concrete Quality Designation) in 2011, a new strain measuring technique based on Digital Image Correlation in 2012, a new CDP (Concrete Damage Plasticity) FEM-based constitutive model in 2013, the SRH System (Stress Release Hole) as a method in treatment of squeezing/swelling/heaving ground in 2015, the GCD (Ground Conductivity Designation) testing method in 2017, the I-System - Index of Ground-Structure for classification and characterisation in 2019, the ViD methods for vibration-induced damage assessment in 2021, and the (I)-TM in 2021, a comprehensive I-System-based tunnelling method for construction of tunnels in any medium under any condition.
He has authored several international journal/conference peer reviewed publications in the field of tunnel-ling, structures, geotechnics, and geomechanics. His book entitled "Stress Non-uniformity in Concrete and Rock Structures" published in 2014 in Germany. His comprehensive classification and characterisation system for ground "I-System" is released in the form of a professional software entitled "I-System Software" in 2020 in UK.
He is highly competent in design with conceptual, computational, and analytical abilities, who had been confidently succeeded with decisiveness in problem-solving of challenges and project management, ex-perienced in the construction of mega infrastructures, and a self-controlled motivated productive and innovative team player having integrity and resilience.
