As Executive Director in NHPC, responsible for Project Investigation & Geology Div & all Power Stations of Region Office Banikhet (HP). Being in the Design & Engineering Div for more than 3 decades, associated with Planning, Design & Engineering of many large hydroelectric projects including Subansiri Lower HEP (2000MW) in Assam & Arunachal, Pakal Dul HEP (1000MW) in Kishtwar region of J&K, Teesta-V (510MW) in Sikkim, TLDP-stage-IV (160MW) in West Bengal, Chamkhar Chhu-I (770MW) in Bhutan & Uri-I (480MW) in J&K, Have been actively involved in bringing/pursuing the new technologies like Roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam, Concrete cut-off wall, Alluvium permeation grout technique, TBM tunneling technology for faster tunneling and Concrete Face Rockfill Dam for deep overburden dam sites. Published Technical Papers in National / International Events / Journals with co-authors of D&E Div of NHPC. Gained valuable experience during visit to various projects in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland , South Africa, USA, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, New Zealand & Bhutan.
